The Bird and the Fish
This children’s book - my first! - tells the friendship story of a salmon and a cormorant who, despite inhabiting different worlds, form a deep connection and experience many adventures together. Drawing inspiration from timeless pieces like “The Missing Piece” by Shel Silverstein and “The Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister, this book aims to teach young readers the importance of staying true to oneself and embracing transition while also honoring past relationships and experience.
Erode
A 46-page graphic novella about three detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding a young man’s mysterious transformation from flesh-and-blood boy to sentient sandstone. Existentialist mystery fiction with a splash of magical realism.
50 Days
50 pen and ink illustrations inspired by a road trip through the American West, featuring scenes from Idaho, Oregon, California, Utah, and Colorado.
